Amaya was sitting on the couch reading a book, nothing was going on today. Nothing had been going on for a while now. No missions, no orders whatsoever. She could tell that everyone was getting alittle restless.
She had already read the book that she was attempting to read, 4 times and so it was quite difficult to get into it yet again. She let out a sigh and let her purple eyes travel around the room. There were just a few people around, each one apparently as bored as she was.
Giving up on her book, she sat it down and crossed her arms. She let her eyes close just for a few moments and was surprised when she felt someone sit on the couch with her. She quickly looked to see who it was.

Reap walked steadily and slowly towards the couch, a sickly sweet and familiar scent reached him as he entered the main room, it was Miss Amaya Takahashi and she was sitting on something that had a slightly musty smell, he considered it and remembered the couch.
Stepping carefully over and putting a hand down first to make sure their was actually a seat there he would plop down and grin. "Hello Miss Takahashi" he would continue to address her by her surname until given permission to say otherwise.
"How're are things besides slow?" He smirked carefully wiping some blood from his cheeks and moving it to his mouth licking it off and leaning back.

She studied Reap for a moment, she liked the guy, she really did. The fact that he was a blind artist really impressed her. Sure she was impressed by anyone who had creative talent, but the fact that he was blind just added more to the plate.
"Things are okay, I'm sure they'll pick up soon." She watched as he wiped blood from his cheek and grimaced slightly, "You know, I could probably atleast help alittle with the bleeding. Losing blood like that can't be healthy." She added.

Keeping his head faced towards Amaya he would keep a neutral expression "Don't worry I'll live, MissTakahashi." Listening to the womans breathing he would feel slightly less alone as he pointed with a single finger and began to draw in the air, sketching out a small rose with a slight grin before putting the finishing details on the delicate object and holding it towards Amaya, "here you can have this" he smirked as the small black rose seemed to solidify into real petals in his hand.

Amaya took the rose and examined it, it was beautiful. Seriously the fact that the Akatsuki had so many artistic members was amazing. She knew exactly where she would put the rose, on the shelf in her room where she already had a few other keep sakes; A small clay statue from Deidara, a paper flower from Konan, and even a small wooden puppet that Sasori had made for her.
"Thats truely amazing Reap, thanks very much," she said keeping her quiet voice soft. She studied it for a while, debating whether or not it would smell like a real rose. Her curiosity finally won out as she brought it to her slightly upturned nose and took a quick sniff. It did smell like a real rose!
"So what have you been doing while there haven't been any missions?" She asked him.

Startled by the sudden entrance of another member Reap lost his concentration and the second drawing blurred the ink becoming nothing more than a wispy smoke in the air. Sighing and turning his head to listen he wouldn't be able to recognize the voice or address it at the moment so he decided to look away and listen to the far off sound of the rain. Smiling carefully to himself he would turn "Miss Takahashi if you're busy I can leave you be..."

Amaya gestured a hello to Karatsu as he entered the room. She scooted over on the couch to give him enough space, making sure that she had her own comfort zone between the two men who now occupied the couch.
"Hey Crazy, how's life?" Karatsu had asked.
"Its not healthy to talk about yourself like that Karatsu," Amaya said simply, her purple eyes settling on him for a brief moment. He really didn't look too good at the time being. She knew about his illness but also knew that it should have been under control. He was probably just as restless as she was.
"Miss Takahashi if you're busy I can leave you be..." Reap said, breaking into her thoughts. She returned her gaze to him and shrugged her slim shoulders, even though she knew he couldn't see the gesture.
"Its alright Reap, you're fine. You know you can call me Amaya don't you? Miss Takahashi is so... formal." She replied.

Karatsu lookes at Amaya. He hated when people were unnaffected by his teasing, but Amaya had enough guts to bite back. He liked it strangely. "Forgive me for hating myself dearly. I just feel so suicidal when that annoying pitch that is your voice enters my range of hearing." He was over-doing the sarcasm today.

As if looking down Reap tilts his head a few drops of blood dripping down to his lower abs. Sighing gently under his breath and returning his mind to his own head with a slight motion of his fingers, Reap would begin to draw something new in the air, "Amaya.." he said gently beneath his breath before moving with a quick slashing motion finishing the last effects of his drawing a small raven that began to flit around the room.

Amaya watched the bird fly around the room, atleast that gave her something to focus on instead of which guy to give her attention to.
"Forgive me for hating myself dearly. I just feel so suicidal when that annoying pitch that is your voice enters my range of hearing." Karatsu said. Amaya knew that he often enjoyed pushing peoples buttons to get reactions from them, it was a trait that she actually appreciated. While she enjoyed staying below the radar, he seemed to enjoy the opposite.
"Hn," she said, throwing in a slightly sarcastic tone of her own, "I wasn't aware I had so much power over you. I'll need to keep that info for later, never know when it may come in handy." She said. A wry smile crossed her face as she glanced at him from the corner of her eye.
"Reap, the things that you create, do they need to feed or be watered in order to stay alive?" she asked, thinking about the rose that he had drawn her a few moments ago.

Karatsu raised his eyebrows. She was getting that sassy attitude for when she's posing a challenge. "Of course you'll save that for manipulation, seeing as you couldn't finish a mission without my backup." Karatsu was trying to strike at the fact they were paired as a team for the latest missions like Itachi and Kisame.

Holding up his hand the bird would soar back and land on Reap's finger as light as air once more the ink dissipating into a colorless smoke. Sighing and turning his face back to the sound of Amaya's words he would appear to search her face, despite not being able to see "well I don't believe they do, but they may need to be touched up from time to time." Without turning back his hands began to weave another pattern a chinese dragon flowing about roaring in a slightly mocking fashion as it wound closer to Karatsu before aiming for the ceiling and then just circling three feet above the group, chasing it's own tail.

Karatsu looked at the dragon in annoyance. He faced his palm upwards and made seals with the other hand. A small amphitire (dragon with no arms/legs, just wings) emerged and circled the ink creation. Karatsu hated it when people used techniques resembling his arsenal. He thought it was trying to show him up. He was enough of a jerk to try and look like the best when it came to dragons.
