Karatsu bumped into Amaya back, but almost knocked her down by accident. He caught her hand and pulled her back up before she fell. The two entered the room. "Hey noob! Get over here!"

Chieko blinked at the 'pet-name' Karatsu had given her and rolled off the couch she was lying on, landing on the ground with a clumsy "oof!" Walking over to the two partners, the ginger itched the back of her head, "Yeah ojii-san?"

Amaya had given Karatsu's hand a quick squeeze and let it go before Chieko had walked over toward them.
She cleared her throat. "Leader-Sama has a mission for us in Suna, and we thought we'd give you the oppurtunity to join us. A chance to get out of the lair." Amaya stated.

Chieko's face paled at the mention of her old village. She chewed her lip nervously and looked at a particularly interesting knot in the wood. "Well... I mean... If you really think I'd be of help... maybe..." Chieko mumbled in response.

Amaya studied Chieko for a moment, then remembered that she was originally from Suna. "Oh, we aren't going to Suna.. just the Wind Country. Our sources tell her that the target tends to stay away from the main villages." she informed, making her tone softer to make up for Karatsu's harsh tone.

Chieko sighed, relieved that she wouldn't be returning to that village full of memories. She nodded towards the duo, "I'll go. How long will we be staying? Give me a few minutes to pack my stuff."

Karatsu turned to Amaya. "Yeah, just how long will we be there, anyway? That place is at teh ass end of nowhere, and I don't wanna spend too long in that hell-hole." Karatsu had a thing against hotter weather.

Amaya shrugged, "However long it'll take to find her, then persuade her into joining us." She answered. Amaya wasn't really looking forward to being in the heat either, especially dry heat, but she wasn't going to complain.

Chieko nodded. She made her way to her room and quickly packed the bare necessities into a small knapsack. The red head slipped on her heavy Akatsuki cloak, despite the heat of their destination ('Damn Leader-sama...') and met the two partners near the lair's exit.

Karatsu turned again to Amaya. "We might not be back for a while. Wanna enjoy the lovely weather while we still can?" Karatsu put his hands behind his head and popped his neck.

"Sure, lets go out and have a walk in the rain for a bit. I'm going to miss it while we're in the desert." Amaya answered Karatsu. She held her hat underneath her arm and followed Karatsu out.

Chieko followed Amaya silently, toying with the zippers on her pants. She glanced up as cool droplets landed on her hair. The oddly shaped collar of her jacket acted like a funnel, guiding water into her previously dry clothing. Still, the nin stayed uncharacteristically silent.

Karatsu had been walking closely by Amaya. "Where do you wanna go before our trip to the sandy hell?" He asked Amaya only, even though he knew the new girl was with them.

"I'm not sure," Amaya answered Karatsu.
Amaya glanced back at Chieko, and smiled, her purple eyes closing slightly. "Is there anywhere that you need to go before we head out of the village?" She asked.
