In the Streets of the Market Place

[Tsuki Kyoushu]

Tsuki looked at him through the corner of her eye, "Don't let it get to your head. It was only because Ryo annoys me more than you do." She answered in a semi annoyed fashion, though she wasn't nearly as annoyed as she attempted to sound.

"So I guess we're on our way to Konoha?" She asked after a few moments.

[Deego Horutan]

Deego kept walking with his eyebrows raised, his eyes half open, but now his mouth was closed. "Konoha... such a bad taste in my mouth..." Deego had had his past experiences. After all, he was a nin for hire. He's done his fair share of work for nearly every land, except Kiri. He didn't want anything to do with them. This didn't go to say that this was the only nation he prefered gone. He was just too lazy to conspire. "What about you, Tsuk? You ever been to Konoha?"

[Tsuki Kyoushu]

Tsuki glared at Deego when he shortened her name. She hated it when people shortened her name, and it wasn't like Tsuki was a long name, and all he was doing was taking the 'i' off. She bit back the words that were already on her tongue. Instead, she looked ahead.

"No, I've never been to Konoha. I've fought ninja from there, but I've never been. This will be, annoying.. but it could be interesting. What about you Deego?" She asked as they walked.

[Deego Horutan]

Deego kept walking, but put his hands in his pockets. "Well, I've had a run in with them before, especially this one guy. What a weirdo. I didn't really like him. He was pretty gloomy, but not like I had much of a choice, with as much as they paid me. Yeah it was him, this one guy who didn't talk, and I swear he had a tail, and then this one girl who wore her hair in a ponytail and could mess with wind. I got my pay, but unfortunately, it was the wrong way, and they didn't like it. Now I'm a wanted man. Well, more so."

[Tsuki Kyoushu]

Tsuki nodded, but didn't bother to look back at Deego.

"Well, don't let Ryo's moaning and groaning about Akemi being a weak link fool you into thinking she'll be an easy target either. Because she won't be. The fact that she's turned her back on her family's way of life as an assassin doesn't mean she's forgotten her training, and I can almost guarantee that she's learned a lot more techniques since she's moved to Konoha. Not to mention they have that whole 'all for one and one for all' mentality there. Its not going to be easy." Tsuki informed.

[Deego Horutan]

Deego popped his neck quickly and looked straight ahead. "Like I don't already know that. I'm well familiar with their systems." Deego couldn't help but crack a mischevious smile at the thought of going back.

[Tsuki Kyoushu]

"Don't get smart with me Horutan." Tsuki said in a bored, yet annoyed tone. "I was just trying to get you ready for Akemi. Of course, if she did end up killing you, I guess it would save me some work later... but then I'd have to break in another partner.. and that'd be annoying." Tsuki sighed and kept walking, managing to walk ahead of Deego.

She glanced back over her shoulder, raised her eyebrow and smiled only slightly, "Are you coming Mr. Moneybags? Maybe someone there can give you a tip on how to clean that jacket of yours."

[Deego Horutan]

Deego leaned back to get his hair out of his face and raised an eyebrow. He cracked a teeth-baring smile. "Yeah, yeah, you hate me, we get it already. I think you'd just miss me is all." Deego knew he was pushing his luck with this, but why shouldn't he have a little fun?

[Tsuki Kyoushu]

"Yea, I'd miss you like I'd miss a toothache." Tsuki replied and continued to grin despite herself. She shook her head and sighed.

He was right, she would miss him, but there's no way she'd admit that to him. He'd only let it get to his head, and he was hard enough to deal with as it was.

[Deego Horutan]

Deego chuckled once, and threw his head back to hanging between his shoulders. "So how are we even gonna find them?"

[Tsuki Kyoushu]

Tsuki shrugged her shoulders slightly, while thinking, every once in a while glaring up at the dark clouds. She really hated the rain now. She didn't care about it much until this stupid village.. all it did here was rain. It was enough to make her want to kill every single person in the village that she came across.

She pushed the few strands of soaked white hair away from her face as she walked on.
"I guess it would make sense to just head toward the Leaf Village. I say we stay along the border of the Fire Country, and it won't take long to catch a whisper or two of what Akemi Yamagata is doing. No point in getting into the village if she's out on a mission or something. What do you think?"
