Outside the Shops

[Yuu Kobayashi]

Jysika had just finished doing a shift at the front gate, and now she was just walking around the Market Place. Once again she wasn't in any hurry to get back home. After all, this was the perfect time of day for her. Just before dusk, when the sky was the color of soft navy, the faint chirping of crickets could be heard off in the distance, and the cool breeze caressed her skin just enough to invigorate her.

She stopped inside one of the shops long enough to buy an apple and continued on her walk through the shopping district, enjoying all of the things that were mentioned above. Finally she came to the perfect spot just outside the shops where she could sit and relax.

She walked up to the trees on the side of the walking path that was uninhabited by stores and sat, leaning up against the trunk of one of the trees. She crossed her legs and after taking a bite of the apple, she closed her eyes. It appeared that she was meditating.

[Mitsu]

Mitsu was walking around the marketplace out of boredom. He thought he might be able to find someone, preferably a girl. He liked meeting new people, but he loved meeting girls around his age. He liked his age as well, not too old but not too young. He was nearing a blank area where there were no shops and a few trees around. He noticed a elegant figure leaning on a tree trunk, appearing to be meditating. Her beauty distracted him. He had to meet her now, so he began to approach her. He quickly turned on his charm and easily thought of a good opening line by the time he was next to her. "Ahem, excuse me miss. I was walking by and couldn't help but notice this beautiful young lady I now am standing before. I hope I am not disturbing you thought. But I will introduce myself. I am Mitsuhide Katsudo."

[Yuu Kobayashi]

Jysika opened her eyes at the unfamiliar voice. She smiled up at him, but then quickly looked to see who he could be talking to. When there wasn't anyone else around besides her, she giggled lightly and pushed her braid over her shoulder.

"Oh! You're talking to me?" Jysika laughed again, a small giggle that she often did when she was nervous or caught unaware. She quickly took to her feet and held her hand out for him to shake.

"Hello, Mitsuhide Katsudo. My name is Jysika Paryi. Its nice to meet you." She said, smiling brightly.

[Mitsu]

Mitsu didn't immediately take her hand. He listened to her introduction before taking her hand. He bowed slightly after takeing her hand and he gently kissed the top of it. "Well, it is very nice to meet you Jysika"

[Yuu Kobayashi]

Jysika's eyebrow went up and her mouth opened slightly wide as she looked from him and then to her hand then back up at him. She giggled again. She then shrugged a little and tilted her head as she looked him over.

Jysika of course didn't know everyone in the village.. but she had seen most of them at least in passing. However, she was sure that she hadn't seen Mitsuhide before. She dusted her clothes off, making sure that no blades of grass were sticking to her pants.

"Its my pleasure," she said then bit her lip lightly, it was a nervous habit of hers. "Are you from around here? I think I would notice you if we've crossed paths before."

[Mitsu]

Yes, I'm a resident here in Konoha. A defender in fact. You are looking at a shinobi of this fine village. But I have been off training for the past oh...6 years? Its been quite some time since I've actually been in the village."

[Yuu Kobayashi]

Jysika studied him for a moment, taking in everything that he said. Finally she nodded and smiled her usual carefree smile. She stood on her tip toes and raised her arms high in the air to stretch out her back, in a very feline manner. She looked around for a minute then focused her attention back on Mitsu. The bright smile causing her light brown eyes to sparkle.

"Well then, allow me to welcome you back home." She said and did a small slightly goofy curtsy, which caused her bangs to fall into her eyes.

"I can't imagine leaving the village for that long of a time, but I'm sure you have plenty of adventure stories to tell after that long, huh?" She asked, the excitement of what could possibly happen coursed through her veins. Jysika loved hearing stories of what laid outside the village, and the action experienced by others.

But then she frowned slightly as another thought occurred to her. "Has the village changed much since you've been gone? I mean, family.. friends? How do you feel about being back here?" She asked. She hoped that she wasn't asking too many questions, or that he felt she was being too nosey or pushy. Jysika was just a naturally curious person who felt the need to get a nearly spiritual understanding of nearly everything and every one.

[Mitsu]

Jysika stretched and officially greeted him with a curtsy. "Why thank you. Now that I think about it, that was my first actual greeting to the village I've gotten since I have arrived. Thank you. Mitsu gentlemanly bowed for her. Mitsu sort of buffed up his muscles slightly to take on a more manly physique and he placed his fists on his hips as he did and spoke an a deeper more manly tone as well.

"Well, being gone for 6 whole years does entail quite the adventures." Mitsu smirked at how manly he was able to sound. "So many questions...Perhaps you could interview me over some sort of...date?"

[Yuu Kobayashi]

Jysika giggled, but stopped at the mention of the word date. She fiddled with her braid, as if thinking for a brief moment, then her smile brightened once more.

"I'll tell you what, since I'm sure the village has changed quite a bit since you left.. I'll show you around." Jysika put her hand on his arm in a friendly fashion, "You can call it a date, but it'd be a friendly date if anything, so don't get too ahead of yourself." Jysika winked a playful wink and pulled her hand back.

She looked up at the sky to see how late it was getting, then once again focused her attention back on Mitsu, she cocked her head to the side, "How does that sound? Maybe I'll even throw dinner in. It can be my welcome back to the village treat to you."

[Mitsu]

She paused and played with her hair and made a decision shortly after. A friendly date...slightly disappointing, but its still better than nothing, much better than nothing. Mitsu figured maybe he could turn it around into a date. Mitsu smirked back as her comment of not getting ahead of himself. She looked at the sky and focused on him once again.

"That sounds wonderful. Dinner sounds like it would be nice. But if that happened, I'd have to invite you to stargaze with me tonight, if you didn't mind. I'd be honored to have you as my guide for this welcoming of my return." Mitsu decided to just stand there and let her lead the way.

[Yuu Kobayashi]

Jysika smiled and nodded. "I think thats a good trade. I usually do a bit of star gazing anyway. I always feel free and connected to the world when looking at the moon and stars. I know the perfect spot." Jysika said and grinned wider.

She turned around, but looked over her shoulder to make sure that he was with her. She decided first to show him around the many shops since they were in the shopping district. So they moved in and out of the many stands.

"Do you have any family or friends still in the village?" Jysika asked, turning around to ask Mitsu. She should have been more careful about where she was standing, because her foot went right into a hole in the ground and she tripped, falling forward.

"Eek!" She squealed and closed her eyes, preparing for the impact.

[Mitsu]

Mitsu noticed her turn and step in the hole and fall. Mitsu acted quickly and instinctively caught her in his arms. from a different standpoint, it looked quite romantic. If they were dating or close to being a couple, a kiss would be appropriate, but Mitsu just smiled charmingly and lifted her back up.

Mitsu paused smiling waiting for her to thank him before lifting her. he would speak while lifting her. "Your welcome. Some people may have just let that happen, but I am not of that kind. I actually couldn't have prevented myself from catching you, it was all an involuntary instinct. Let us carry on, shall we?" Mitsu smirked again.

[Yuu Kobayashi]

Jysika pushed her hair out of her face and gave a toothy grin to Mitsu. She kicked at the ground, then put her hands in her pockets.

"Thanks, I guess I'm a little clutsy sometimes. My father would prefer no one help me though, he says that the only way a shinobi learns sure footing is to walk on her own without any help, and fall when falling comes. He says that lessons learned the hard way are the only ones that stick." Jysika replied, taking her eyes away from Mitsu for a brief moment then looked back at him. She smiled again and shrugged.

"So what first? Hungry, or would you like to go straight to the moon and stars?" Jysika asked.

[Mitsu]

Mitsu looked up at the sky and noticed the sun was still setting, there was tome left before the night sky would truly show itself. "I think I would rather eat first. I tend to wait until all of the stars show themselves. Lead the way my dear." Mitsu put on a charming smile and offered his arm for her to take and lead.

[Yuu Kobayashi]

"I guess that would make it easier to see the stars huh?" Jysika said with a wide smile. She looked down at his arm that he extended then back up at him. Instead of taking it, she took hold of his wrist, very lightly and pulled him along.

"Okay, then we'll have dinner then. How does sandwhiches at the tea shop sound? Or maybe you prefer something else?"
