Laying on his back, Misuke opened his eyes and sat up without the use of his arms and stretched. Now that the sun had started to set, there was little point to remaining where he was since he had come up for the warmth. He hadn't even bothered with a shadow clone today - the topic of the day for ninjutsu class had been the basic clone technique which he had already learned how to use a year and a half ago. Standing up, Misuke moved to the edge of the roof and jumped down, briefly grabbing onto a window ledge to slow his fall before landing on the ledge below that and finally dropping down to the ground in the alley. Stretching once again, Misuke walked out of the alley into the main street - if Rena hadn't changed personality wise in the last few years, she wouldn't be home until well after dark, so there wasn't much point to going back just quite yet. Blending in with the crowd by instinct, Misuke began wandering around the district.

Kimiko had just stepped outside one of the many restaurants in the district after having her dinner. She was petting her precious kitten as she walked through the crowd, whispering sweet loving sounds in his ear. Then she spotted Misuke and her blue eyes narrowed.
She quickly picked up pace so that she'd be right beside him, now forgetting to pet her kitten who was getting annoyed at the fact that he was now being ignored. Kimiko cleared her throat, and glanced at Misuke out of the corner of her eye. She waited for a response from him.

Great. Misuke let out a quiet sigh and let his shoulders droop slightly. He didn't need her voice to recognize Kimiko, and had felt that she was somewhere nearby for a few minutes. Not wanting any trouble, he had just kept walking, hoping that she wouldn't see him. Not like it mattered - if she became an issue or wanted to start something, he'd just put his experience to good use and lose her in the crowds or alleys. "What do you want?" Misuke said, not bothering to face her and not slowing down.

Kimiko still didn't turn her head to completely look at Misuke, rather she simply continued to look at him through the corner of her eyes, lifting her chin a tad bit into the air. Her kitten began getting fussy from getting ignored and started mewing in an annoyed fashion.
"You must really think you're something, huh? Not having to stick around for any of the classes at the academy or any of that. Its so annoying." Kimiko said, her voice sounding more like a pouty child thats use to getting what she wants rather than a teenager having a talk with a friend.
Kimiko's kitten had finally had enough of not getting attention and decided to wrap its front paws around her hand that had been danging in front of its head for the last few seconds and sink its claws into her skin. Kimiko let out a sharp hiss, and glared at Misuke as if it were his fault.

"Not really. I just don't see any point to going to a class to hear what I already know and to learn something I can already do. I've already proven that I can do the clone jutsu, so I don't see a problem." Misuke said, still walking and speaking again when he heard her hiss. "Don't coddle it so much or it will never learn to look out for itself. You won't always be there for when it gets in trouble."

Kimiko snuffed her nose at Misuke and picked her kitten up so that she could look into its eyes. "Don't worry baby, Mommy won't abandon you in the middle of nearly no where like my daddy did me. No I won't... " She said and kissed the kitten on the nose and then cuddled it again and this time made sure to pet it.
"Is that why you're so... enjoyable to be around?" Kimiko asked dryly, obviously trying hard to make her sarcasm stand out.

Staying silent, Misuke unconsciously picked up his pace. He knew that she probably had no idea what his past was, but that didn't mean he wanted to talk about it - if anything, he wanted to completely put it behind him, something he hadn't even thought he'd be able to do until he'd tracked Rena down. Sighing inwardly, Misuke knew that it was easier said than done. "Something like that."

Kimiko rolled her eyes and groaned, clearly thinking that Misuke was being emo. True she didn't know what his life was like before coming to the Leaf Village, but hello.. it wasn't like she really cared enough to ask.
She picked up her pace and was soon once again beside Misuke. She looked at him and shook her head. Something about him just annoyed her. Maybe it was the fact that she should be the teacher's pet in their class, but if he kept showing off or had the ability to show off, he'd be the favorite. That really annoyed her. She narrowed her blue eyes at him.
"Whatever," she said. She looked around to see where they had ended up walking to and realized that they were close to the tea shop. Nearly right outside it in fact. "Since we're here, I'm going to get some tea." She said and quickly turned away from Misuke and walked into the tea shop, leaving him by himself.

Misuke stood there for a moment before shrugging to himself and then following her in. The past was the past, and he'd leave it at that. Besides, as far as the present went he had no where in particular to be at the moment since he had no idea when Rena would be home.
