Nori let out an annoyed sigh. She had tried several times to cut her way through the tree trunk using her chakra scapel. She knew that she was already able to cut into a person, but if she could just focus her chakra alittle better, maybe she could actually cut through completely. True it was a very beastly way to fight, but when you only had poisons and medical jutsu to fight with, you had to use what you got. Besides, it'd be pretty hard for someone to continue fighting when they lost an arm or a leg, right?
She glared at the tree as if it had assaulted her, she had managed to cut half way through it, but half wasn't really good enough. Not to mention that her hand was now hurting because she managed to get a splinter in it.
"Stupid tree," she said and kicked the tree as hard as she could, chakra automatically focusing in her foot. It only took that one good kick and the tree went crashing to the ground.
"Yes!" Nori exclaimed, throwing her fist up in the air in celebration.

The tree seemed to stop before hitting the ground. Kekeya was standing under it, trying to keep the tree from falling on him. "Hey easy! I almost got hit by that!" Kekeya was straining to hold the tree up.

Nori paused in her celebration when instead of hearing the tree hitting the ground she heard someone talking to her.
She leaned sideways and saw Kekeya holding the tree up. She quickly went to his aid and helped him throw it down.
"Uh, sorry. I didn't know anyone was standing there. Guess I can be alittle singleminded." She said, her cheeks turning slightly pink. Blushing easily was a curse she had to deal with for being so pale skinned.
She took her hair down from the ponytail that it was in and placed the hairthing around her wrist.

Kekeya dropped the tree to the side with a loud crash. Keeping his straight face as always. "Yeah actually. I just got paid and i have a bit of free time. I might as well. Any practice in particular sound good, or just whatever?"

Nori thought it over a moment, "Well I do need to practice some with taijutsu, Lee is 'training' with me tomorrow and I kind of need a training session for my training session." she said.
She was alright with taijutsu but no where close to how she should be.
She quickly retied her hair up in the ponytail as she waited for Kekeya's response.

Kekeya rubbed the back of his head, a bad habit of his. "Sure, I can help there. I had to sub for a taijutsu class once at the academy so I could help." Kekeya looked up, then back down. "Any rules?"

"Any rules?" Kekeya asked.
Nori grinned, "Well, two I guess. One, don't take it easy on me just because you don't like the idea of fighting a girl. Two, don't try to kill me, "she added a quick short laugh, "but if we get injured its not a big deal. It'd give me a chance to practice the medical jutsu too."
Nori took a ready stance and waited to make sure that Kekeya was ready. When she thought he was, she rushed at him and attempted a high kick to his chest.

Kekeya saw her eyes look at his torso. He devised a good manuever. As the kick came flying, Kekeya dropped to the floor on hands and feet. He swung his foot in a sweep kick. Before making contact, he bailed on this attack and spun upwards to strike at Nori's left shoulder.

Nori hadn't really seen the attack on her shoulder coming until it was too late and so she didn't brace herself. The contact hurt like crazy but she ignored it. Instead, she attempted another kick, this one on the same shoulder as the one he had hit.
This time her attack hit its mark. She quickly went in for another attack by thrusting her palm toward his stomach.

Kekeya, grimmacing from the sting in his shoulder, was able to stop this next attack. He grabbed her by the wrist and swung her to the side. As she was off balance, he attempted to land his heel to the back of her head.

Nori was thrown off balance, and it was nearly just by luck that she sensed Kekeya's heel before it made contact with the back of her head. She focused alittle of her chakra into her hand and pushed Kekeya in the stomach to put distance between the two of them long enough for her to regain her footing.
Her previous training from earlier was now coming back to haunt her. The mark on her neck was starting to sting which meant that her ability to fight off the pain was dwindling to almost nothing. She winced and quickly put her hand over her neck to rub the affected area.

Nori didn't notice Kekeya's attack and so she wasn't able to block it. The blow sent Nori back and her head hit a tree.
"Ouch," she said and groaned slightly. She went from rubbing her neck to rubbing her head, man it hurt. Of course, she did tell him not to go easy on her right? And an enemy wouldn't pause whenever she was uncomfortable. Nori told herself that she'd have to learn to ignore it if the curse mark started hurting again.
She'd have to remember to ask Anko what she did when hers was hurting, of course Anko's didn't hurt when she overdid her training, Nori didn't know who else responded to the curse mark the way she did. It was simply one thing that made her feel like a freak, something that she was sure would one day bring her uncle back for her.
Nori grimaced at that thought and forced it away, focusing instead on Kekeya.
"That was a great attack Kekeya, but I think thats it for me." She said, rolling her shoulders to ease the tension that was building there.

And in the middle of the fight out of the blues Kurakuren came running with a horde of vicious cats that wanted to get Kurakuren. "Aaaaaaaaah, run... they're coming this way."
