Manabu and Chou walked into the little tea shop, looking around for a place to sit. "How about over there?" Manabu asked, pointing to a booth off to the left. There weren't very many people there so it wasn't hard to find a booth. They walked to the booth and a waitress brought them menus as they decided what to order.

Chou flashed him a bright smile and sat down. She looked at her menu for a moment and decided on a strawberry flavored tea and a fruit sandwich. After putting giving her order to the waitress, she put her elbows on the table and rested her chin on her hands. Her lavender eyes focused now on Manabu.
"So tell me about yourself. Do you have any siblings?" She asked.

Manabu felt slightly transfixed by the intense gaze from those violet eyes, but soon recovered himself to go on speaking. "Actually, yes I do. Have you heard of Sadako Nanami from the Survival Training Facility somewhere on Konoha's outskirts? The one with the crystal kekkei genkai? She is one of my sisters. My other sister, Sadako Keiko, works at an academy in Suna, but she comes here often to visit us." he replied. "What about you? Got any brothers or sisters?"

Chou put her hand over Manabu's and smiled brightly. "It sounds like you have very gifted sisters, and I'm sure that you'll be as great as them if not greater. I bet your family is very proud of you all." She said in a very melodious voice.
When asked about her own siblings, Chou pulled her hand away from Manabu's and moved her hand sideways as if fanning something away. She gave a crooked smile.
"I do have an older sister. She's a few years older than me, and amazingly smart. She works with my mother in the Information room thing. Her name is Ren Ohashi. She is actually a very gifted kunoichi, but she prefers to use her brain instead of weapons." Chou said and shrugged her shoulder lightly.
She took some strands of her hair and began twirling it around her finger absentmindedly, letting her mind wander. After the waitress brought their orders back to the table, Chou thanked the waitress then turned to look back at Manabu.
"Is there any reason why you're just now taking the exam?" Chou asked, and then thinking maybe it was too much, she bit her lip, "If thats too personal or a bad question, then you can just tell me so."

All of a sudden, Kiyo came through the doors backwards, yelling something out to someone yet to enter. "I'm telling ya, it's genius! It'll totally work!" That was when Koga walked through like it was against his will. "No wonder they made you live under ground..." Was what Koga said. This made Kiyo silent a moment. "... It was my decision..." "Uh-huh, whatever helps you sleep at night, greasy." Koga reached to rub Kiyo's head, but suddenly pulled his hand away, afraid to touch his oil-slicked hair. This made Kiyo's face sink lower. Kiyo reached up and poked Koga in the back of the head. Koga turned to see why, but Kiyo looked innocent. "It wasn't me." Koga looked at Kiyo for a second, then slapped Kiyo over the back of the head, making him fall. "It wasn't me." Was what Koga said afterwards.

Jysika and Sachi had walked into the tea shop, and as soon as Sachi had spotted the Sasaki she had skipped over silently, taking a hold of Jysika. Jysika could tell from the tingly feel that suddenly took over her body before approaching the two that Sachi had used her kekkei genkai to make them invisible. That was never really a good sign. Jysika bit her lip to keep from giggling.
She hadn't seen Kiyo poke Koga, and she did know that Sachi was going to do something to him. However, seeing Koga hit Kiyo on the back of the head reminded her very much of how Sakura always went around hitting people. It annoyed her, and if this guy was going to be a bully like Sakura then that would be annoying even more.
Before she really knew what she was doing, she reached up and smacked the back of Koga's head. Sachi started laughing, holding her sides as she did so.

Manabu looked over at the people who had come in a moment before turning back to talk to Chou. "Well, my sisters and I moved around a lot as kids so we grew up training in things like street fighting and didn't get a chance to learn many things about being a ninja. So I took the training over again and graduated last year after the chuunin exams." Manabu explained taking a sip of his tea.

Chou had heard the people coming in, but she didn't take her eyes from Manabu. She nodded, and then took a sip of her tea.
"But you got to see a lot of different places didn't you? I've never been outside the village, even when put on missions as a genin, they've always been missions within the gates." Chou said. She had always wanted to travel, and hoped that as a chuunin she would finally get the chance.
Koga was not expecting this, and didn't bother picking his head back up. He really never expected to be hit before... really because it never happened before. Kiyo witnessed this, then suddenly and sporatically overturned a table and dove for cover. He was acting like the world was gonna explode. Koga turned and picked his head up. He stared at Jysika with a raised eyebrow, but really no more of an expression. "Can I help you?"

Jysika glared at Koga, well as much as she could glare into the eyes of someone who was a bit taller than her. She stood straighter and raised her head in order to seem taller.
"It doesn't feel too good does it?" She asked, her voice even and calm, "how did you like being hit in the head?"
Sachi was snickering beside her still, "Jysika hit K.O.!" she said, making her way now over to Kiyo. "Just wait until I tell Miyo!"
Jysika didn't pay any attention to Sachi though, Koga had her complete attention.
Koga lowered his eyebrow and now seemed completely apathetic. Kiyo, however, was still cowering behind teh overturned table. Koga gave a small, solitary chuckle and spoke. "I understand the concept 'what goes around goes around', but really, you don't gotta defend 'that'." Koga pointed his thumb at Kiyo, and he popped up his head over the side and stuck his tongue out. Koga turned back to Jysika. "Riiiight... but anyway... eh. You got spunk, I like that." Koga rubbed Jysika's head, ruffling her hair. Then Koga bent over to get at eye level. "Don't do it again."

Jysika let out a sigh and shook her head, a slight smile spreading across her face. "I'm not a kid you know, so you don't have to mess my hair up." She said in her usual carefree tone, "and I won't do that again unless I think you need it. Then, I can't make any promises."
She waved at Kiyo then went to a near by table and sat down. She was going to have a snack before going to train. Maybe she'd train with Nori, she hadn't spent much time with her since she got back from the mission. In fact, Nori had been busy ever since she got back.

"Yea, we traveled from Suna to get here, so I saw a lot of different places on the way. I think one of my favorite places was Tanigakure. There were so many strong ninja around I couldn't wait to grow up to be like. We also went to Kusagakure. The Village Hidden in the Grass. We even got to cross the Tenchi Bridge. You know what, someday, I'm gonna take the three of us back to Kusagakure so I can show you the beautiful forests." Manabu replied, thinking somewhat dreamily about his past as he sipped at his coffee. When the waitress came around again, he asked Chou, "Would you like a slice of cheesecake? My treat." before ordering some food.

Chou smiled brightly, warming her lavender eyes as she looked at Manabu, "That would be really sweet of you," she said with a nod when he offered her a slice of cheesecake.
After taking another sip of her tea, she put the cup back down and put her hand on Manabu's arm, close to his wrist.
"I have heard that Kusagakure is beautiful, that girl over there with the long brown hair.. she's originally from that village but they moved here when she was little," Chou said, tilting her head toward where Jysika was standing.
"I'm sure that we'll go on many great adventures together Manabu," she said, giving his wrist a gentle squeeze before pulling her hand away and placing it once more on her tea cup.
"I guess that Rena is on to something though, with training a little before we meet our Sensei. Are you planning on getting any training in?" She asked.

Manabu ordered two slices of original style cheesecake before turning back to Chou. When she said something about the brown haired girl that had walked in a few minutes before, he turned to look at her for a moment. Yep, she looked like a Kusagakure born girl. They always had this slight distinction in their faces that you could tell from others. He nodded and turned back to Chou once more, giving her his full attention.
"Yes, I see that now. I wonder from which part she came from." he said thoughtfully. He thanked the waitress as she came with their cheesecakes and refills. "There are some amazing places you have to see when we do get to go."
"Yea, I was thinking on getting some special training in before our sensei returns. Would you like to accompany me?" he asked Chou, smiling once more at her and took a bite o the sweet cheesecake.
