Deego had been inspecting the ground in several places. He was taking measured steps and poking at the ground. He hadn't spoken since him and Tsuki left the tea shop. When he stood and spoke, it almost caught Tsuki off guard. "Do you remember when we first met, Tsuki? The big cliff to our right? Do you remember where it was, like if it's near?" Deego was looking down the horizons of either ends of the shores.
You! You fight that fight! And when you're fightn' you feel alright! But we! When things stop feelin' alright! And everything is alright! We will never listen to your rules! We will never do as others do! Know what we want and we get it from you! We do what we like and we like what we do! So let's get a party goin'! Now it's time to party and we'll party hard!

Tsuki looked at Deego for a minute and then let out a sigh.
"How could I forget when we first met, it was the worst day of my life..." she said in a completely bored voice, though she was lying. She was just trying to be her normal self since Deego was certainly different. She looked around for the big cliff, then rolled her eyes.
"Look down, idiot. We're standing on it," She said and stomped her foot for emphasis.

Deego's head popped up. "... Oh... well, that's convenient." Deego popped up next to Tsuki. "Where would I be without you?" Deego had a cheesy smile on his face to show his sarcasm. Deego walked up to the cliff's edge and stared at the rocks. He climbed down them until he was near the bottom and put his ears to the stones and began strumming his fingers on them. When he hit a hollow spot, he smiled his smug, confident smile with his eyes half-closed. "Hello, my beautiful." Deego said in a deep voice, almost sentimentally. He thrust his palm at the rock, using his technique to blow the rocks away. The entire side of the cliff turned out to be hollow. What was concealed was even more impressive. An entire ship was inside, hidden in its secret sanctum, mast lowered, sail folded. Deego looked around to see if he and Tsuki were alone. "C'mon, hop on." Deego jumped from the stone he was standing on that landed in the water to the stern of the ship. He inhaled deeply and let out a satisfied sigh. "God, I love the smell of piracy in the morni... night. Whatever it is, it's awsome."

"You'd be lost without me," she grumbled, even though she knew that he had been sarcastic. She then watched as he brought the ship out. She was slightly impressed but didn't let it show.
"If I have to," she groaned when he told her to hop on. She jumped onto the ship and leaned against the side of the ship.
"So are you going to tell me where we're going now, or are you planning on kidnapping me?" She asked.

Deego had been unfolding the sail when Tsuki said what she did. "Hm? Oh, the ropes over in the corner. I'm a little busy, so if you wouldn't mind, could you go and tie yourself up?" Deego was only kidding, and he knew she knew that. Deego unfolded the sail completely and shook it until it was straight. Deego stood at the edge of it, admiring it. The signia was a skull and crossbones, only the crossbones were boomerangs. It seemed fitting, but what took the cake was the money sign behind it. Deego walked to where the mast was. He stood at where it laid. It appeared heavy enough to take a whole crew to lift, but Deego, ever ready, used his technique to shoot it up from one end. It fell into place perfectly, ready for the coresponding mechanisms to be assembled. Deego quickly set everything up and sailed the ship into open water. Once the ship was moving, he pounded his fist on the steering wheel and walked over to Tsuki. "I thought I asked you to tie yourself up? You expect me to kidnap you when you can escape whenever you want?"

Tsuki watched Deego while he worked to prepare the ship for sailing. When he had first told her to tie herself up, she replied with a "Hn." Now she stood, with her arms crossed and studying the ship.
"Like I'm going to make anything easy for you," she answered finally, the corner of her mouth turning up.

Deego chuckled. "Heh. I'm just gonna have to do it myself then." Deego picked up the rope and whipped it, then he chuckled. The look in Tsuki's eyes said that if he went anywhere near her with those, he'd be going overboard. Deego put the ropes down. "Yeah, I wouldn't anyway." Deego walked over to a big, bolstered-metal door. Obviously, it lead to the captain's quarters. Deego flung the door wide open with a loud, metallic clang. He walked in and went looking across a shelf above the very dusty bed. deego was looking over the spines of books, when he saw the right one. He pulled it out and it read, "The Basics of Sailing". deego chuckled at the book's uselessness. He opened it up from the middle, and the page it landed on was bookmarked with a very old piece of paper. It looked to be about little less than a century old. Deego withdrew the paper and tossed the book at the wall. He began unfolding it, the paper turning out to be very large. It was an extremely old map. It was marked with dotted red lines, and dotted black lines. Deego ran his hands over each one until he stopped at their current location. He then ran his finger in a very swirly motion. "That's the one. There's our route."

Tsuki looked over his shoulder at the map. She didnt say anything as she eyed their destination. She had a feeling that this had something to do with the man back at the tea shop.
"You do remember how to sail this thing, right?" She asked.

Deego cut away from the map the instant Tsuki asked him the questioned and laughed. It was a deep and hearty laugh as if the question was ludicrous. Deego pulled out his boomerang very quickly and threw it out the window. "One ding for no, two for yes." The sound of two bells being hit in succession replied. "I saw this thing built from the ground up. It was practically my playhouse when i was a kid. I know this thing backwards, forwards, inside..." Deego took a pause. During this pause, there was a sliding sound, like a ball in a tube. Within seconds, Deego's boomerang popped out of a pipe attached to the wall. Deego caught it and said, "...and out." Deego put his boomerang back in his jacket. "So yeah, I won't get us lost."

Tsuki spotted a chair in the captain's quarters and plopped down, throwing her legs over the arm of it. She pulled a kunai out from her ponytail and began cleaning under her nails.
"Alright, just checking. Just don't get over confident.. Actually it may be kind of nice to see you do something you're actually good at... for a change." She said, adding the last bit in as kind of a wise crack. Her tone of voice was light which should tune Deego in that she was only joking.

Deego stopped and turned with his tongue sticking out. He chuckled slightly, seeing that Tsuki really had made a habit out of the nail thing. "Yeah, for once." Deego walked outside on deck and stared out to sea. He whispered, but was loud enough for Tsuki to hear, "You know full well what I'm good at." Deego added a romantic hint to his tone, giving the intended reference to their little "incident" outside of the Yamagata Enclave. He had a smug smirk on his face and his eyes were half-closed.

Tsuki threw the kunai at Deego, not exactly at him but close enough that he would get the message. It went into the side wall of the ship, just an inch away from his arm. She stood up and walked over to where he was standing, and reached out to reclaim her kunai.
"I suppose I should tell you now that I wasn't too impressed with that." She said, meaning the incident. Although she really was, she wasnt about to let him continue with the smuggness.

Deego turned to face her, his eyebrows raised, but still smug. "Oh, I could've done better than that. I really just didn't have much to compete with." Deego turned away, his eyes now closed, smile absent. He sounded serious when he said that and knew it, but didn't mean it. He was aiming for revenge at Tsuki's comment. Oh, and constantly throwing sharp objects at him, but more the comment, really.

Tsuki blinked, and gripped the kunai knife tighter than neccessary. Deego sounded serious and she tried to not let it show that his words hurt her. After all, she considered herself the ice queen. Though okay, maybe she was meaner to him than neccessary. She looked away from him, even though he wasn't facing her. She took a sigh and closed her eyes, her fingers still clutching the kunai.
"I"ll try to stop being so cold toward you," She said in a quiet whisper, not even sure if Deego heard it. It was obvious that the day had taken alot out of her because she wouldn't have apologized so easily in any other case.
She walked back to the captain's quarter's and sat back down in the chair. This time sitting in it the right way, with her elbows on her legs and her head buried in her hands. Even though all the rough patches of the day were over, everything was now crashing down on her. Spending the time with Akemi made her realize exactly how cold she was toward everyone. Not that she really cared about everyone else.. but shouldn't she be warmer toward Deego?

Deego's eyes shot open. He watched Tsuki walk away, completely stupefied at what had just happened. He had never, ever, not even once, ever heard Tsuki apologize. He dropped his arms to his side as she sat down. He had heard every word in detail. He could barely muster to speak. "... whoa..." was all he could whisper when Tsuki was out of earshot. Deego walked up to the doorway as Tsuki seemed to be dealing with something mentally. Deego let her sit there and contemplate. When it seemed like he wouldn't be interrupting anything important, he walked in. He stood next to her, and asked, "... Hey... you ok?..." Deego picked up his hand, but stopped it in midair. He kept it frozen for a little bit, but then decided if he was going to do a "one-in-a-million", now would be the time. He put his arm around Tsuki. "Hey, I'm sorry about that, if that's what it is. I shouldn't be so harsh with retalliation." Deego never thought he would be sincerely apologizing for a long time.
